Case 18 - Clinical Information

77-year-old woman with a  sore, 
pruritic, blistering eruption 
for three days prior to arrival. 

Examination of the palms, soles, 
dorsal aspect of the feet, legs, 
buttocks, and inner thighs revealed
well-demarcated, tense vesicles and bullae; 
some of them were on urticarial bases. 

They ranged in size from 3 mm to 3 cm. 

They were not clustered in a 
rosette pattern. 

Examination of the oral and ocular mucosa 
revealed some conjunctival injection but 
no erosions or bullae. 

There was crusting over the left lower lip.
